Hometown Rider In AMGEN Top 5 through Aptos | Community Spirit

APTOS, Calif.- Hometown rider and Bissell Pro Cycling team member Ben Jacques-Maynes was in the 5th spot in the standings heading to Livermore.

Jacques-Maynes broke his collerbone during Stage 5 of the 2011 Tour of California,  and his recovery was slow after a bone infection that threatened his career and life at one time.

Jacques-Maynes was only cleared medically three weeks before the AMGEN.
