Tandy Beal at Cabrillo College

Former Cabrillo College faculty member and legendary performer Tandy Beal, will celebrate the 40th anniversary of her performance troupe Tandy Beal & Company and her collaboration with musician/composer Jon Scoville, with the premiere of her newest work HereAfterHere: A Self Guided Tour of Eternity at the Cabrillo Crocker Theater, September 10 -12. The September 10th opening performance is a benefit for Hospice of Santa Cruz. & a $50 donation per ticket includes premiere seating and an invitation to the reception that follows the performance. Regular priced tickets are also available for the opening performance ranging from $12 to $35. From The Farm To The Table

It is that time when all of our favorite fruits and vegetables are in season and ripe for the picking.

Local farms and wineries are coming together with Chaminade Resort & Spa to take advantage of the local bounty and to host the Second Annual Farm-to-Table Dinner Series, five dinners featuring the finest that Santa Cruz growers and vintners have to offer.

The next Farm-to-Table Dinner is scheduled for Friday, August 20th. The dinner will take place on Chaminade's terrace patio, which boasts beautiful views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and the Monterey Bay. The Dinner includes local wine and will begin with a reception from 5:30-6:00pm featuring passed hors d'oeurves, followed by a four course dinner beginning at 6:00pm.

On July 14, Capitola will continue it's tradition of the Wednesday Night Twilight Concerts in the Esplanade Park.

Families and friends are encouraged to come and listen to an array of musical styles from jazz, western, latin, swing, orchestra to good old rock & roll.

The bands will perform from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Sand Castles at Seacliff

Saturday, July 10 11:00a to 2:00p at Seacliff State Beach, Aptos, CA

Come see and make sand sculptures with top-notch experts Kirk Rademaker and Rusty Croft who will bring their craft to Seacliff State Beach. They will be building a demonstration sand sculpture on the beach to show kids and families how to do it. They will also help participants make smaller ones that day.
